This year our South-West 2009 Christmas Party Night takes place in the 4* Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel. The Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre is a 4* hotel in the heart of Bristol yet close to the M32 & M4, and just 0.7 miles (1 km) from Bristol bus station or 0.6 miles (1 km) from Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
We set the mood of the evening with a Champagne reception - this gives time for everyone to mix and mingle. There follows a delicious 3-course Christmas Dinner with red and white wine, and background music to set the mood. Afterwards we party the night away to the DJ who plays music to suit all tastes. [please let us know of any special dietary needs or restrictions].
To really relax and not worry about getting home - take advantage of our great accommodation offer. After checking into your luxury room from 2pm you can visit this great city or get ready at leisure. You could also take advantage of the hotel's leisure facilities including a swimming pool and health club. We have negotiated a special rate for Bed and Breakfast of £85.00 per person. Bristol’s harbourside is lined with attractions, boats, restaurants and museums that make the city unforgettable. Many old warehouses have been reborn as bistros, wine bars and arts centres. Among the places to see are the impressive Clifton Suspension Bridge, the SS Great Britain, Bristol zoo and the At-Bristol science exhibition. The Hotel’s central location makes sure it is easy to reach – Temple Meads station is less than a kilometre away, while the airport is approximately 13 kilometres south of the city.

The Sofitel hotel (formerly Le Meridien) is a luxury 4* hotel with 550 well appointed bedrooms to suit every need. The rooms are spacious, with en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, remote control television with satellite, pay-per-view movies, tea/coffee-making facilities, radio, direct-dial telephone, laptop and fax point, mini-bar, iron and ironing board, trouser press, air conditioning and double-glazed windows.
The lobby is extremely modern and features the highest glass ceiling atrium in Europe, with an overhead transparent footbridge, that joins the two wings of the hotel. It is light and spacious, with ample seating, glass lifts, cafes and bars. The adjacent library provides an oasis of tranquillity in which to relax.

The hotel is attached to London Gatwick Airport's North Terminal by a short covered walkway, and is 2 minutes from the Gatwick Express rail link, which runs into central London.
