Easter Holiday

If Carlsberg did New Year's Eve parties...

Wondering what to do this New Year?  Well, you could stay at home with a glass of sherry and watch the telly. Or you could do the rounds of noisy pubs and bars - waiting for hours at the end of the night for an expensive taxi. But far better - you could join us at the 4* Hotel Sofitel for this special one night break - a Gala New Year's Eve Dinner Dance.

This luxury 4* hotel at Gatwick is easily reached by car from the M23 / M25 or by rail from London, and full maps and directions are sent on booking.

We start the evening with a drinks reception to get the party in full swing before you enjoy a lavish four-course Gala Dinner, followed by a disco to see in the New Year. Our prices include the dinner dance, wines and overnight accommodation with full English breakfast (no single supplement).

New Year's Eve Itinerary

Day one

Arrive at the hotel at your leisure from 2pm - relax and ready yourself for the evening’s festivities . Perhaps enjoy a drink or afternoon tea at one of the hotel's cafes or bars.

The evening’s festivities commence at 7.00pm with a drinks reception in the Desoutter Suite where you're introduced to your fellow revellers - followed by the four-course New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner with wines and coffee [please let us know of any special dietary needs or restrictions].

The resident DJ will then raise the tempo, so sit back and listen, sing-a-long or dance to the sounds of the Disco.  At midnight we'll count down the last moments of 2009 and welcome in the New Year to the Chimes of Big Ben. The merriment continues with dancing until the early hours.

(Dress code: black tie optional or lounge suit).

Day two

Relax and start 2010 with a well-earned lie-in!  When you're ready there's a leisurely breakfast from 9.30am until midday including continental pastries, cold buffet, fresh fruit - and a full English fry-up - endless bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, sausages plus unlimited tea and coffee!

Sadly, all good things must come to an end as we will soon have to say our fond farewells.

But there's no need to rush off - we've negotiated a late check out up to 2pm for everyone!
